I've spent almost a full decade building, moderating, and growing Facebook communities. A few months ago we dove head first into AI and got really deep into it. I started joining AI groups because I wanted to learn without needing to go to Reddit or X and try to navigate all those posts, but quickly found out they're all trash. Every single one of them has solid intel from real smart people if you look deep enough, but the rest is AI slop, some version of a scam or spam, and so many bots (I get the irony). We know how to build communities and we have a powerhouse of a team to manage them, so it was only natural we had to make our own.
Moda AI Club uses the same basic rules and principles we use to moderate and grow our other 22 Moda Clubs that span over 600k+ members, but in the artificial intelligence space. Our target members are small business owners looking to start using AI to help their businesses grow and scale, and builders looking to show off their work, be helpful, and get access to these owners.
There's a lot of really smart people who have all the knowledge and crazy automations built up but they accomplish nothing actually productive. AI is only as good as the problem it can solve.
The group is free and it's public for anyone to see the posts, but to be able to post and comment you need to verify yourself using this page. This is our first step in making sure the right people contribute and filter out the noise.
I'm personally very passionate about this community and AI in general, so I'm excited to see where this all leads, but it starts with our members providing a ton of value to each other. That's our mission. To give them all a place to do that safely and free from the BS.
