Why it matters
Pepsi is the Rolex GMT-Master with a red and blue bezel, the original two-color bezel that gave the GMT-Master its identity in 1955. Multiple generations of Pepsi exist across reference numbers and materials. Collectors care a lot about which Pepsi a listing actually shows.
When evaluating a Pepsi listing, the year and reference number drive most of the price difference. A modern white-gold Pepsi trades very differently from a vintage acrylic-crystal version. Ask for matching shots of the bezel, dial, and clasp stamps before you commit.
Common questions
- What is a Pepsi Rolex?
- A Pepsi is the Rolex GMT-Master with a red and blue bezel. The nickname comes from the soda brand's color scheme. It's been part of the GMT-Master line since 1955.
- Are all Pepsi GMTs steel?
- No. Pepsi GMTs have been produced in stainless steel and 18k white gold, with vintage 1675 references also offered in solid yellow gold. Rolex has not produced a Pepsi in the steel-and-gold Rolesor configuration. That two-tone case is reserved for Root Beer variants.
